Great days out at Trump Turnberry

The Ayrshire Bed and Breakfast Association recently spent a fantastic day at Turnberry, where we held our AGM in the Champion's Suite at the Clubhouse, Turnberry.  We had a tour of the hotel and spa buildings, both of which are the last word in luxury, however, we were pleasantly surprised to learn that non-residents can have a great day out at Turnberry at a very affordable price.........

  1. There are 3 golf courses, The famous Ailsa course costs £175 to £375/round, however, The King Robert the Bruce course costs £70 to £120/round and The Arran 9 hole course £25 to £40/round. These prices are the non-residents rates and range from winter to summer rates.
  2. There is a range of restaurants/food and beverage outlets including the half-way house at the lighthouse, between the 9th and 10th holes of the Ailsa course; The Jewel in the Sun restaurant in the Clubhouse, The Grand Tea Lounge in the main hotel and the 1906 Restaurant.   3. There are a range of activities offered to non-residents which we can advise our guests of:
    1. 4 x 4 off-road track
    2. Clay pigeon shooting
    3. Riffle range
    4. Water zorbing
    5. Quad biking
    6. Team-building
    7. Turnberry stables offer horse-riding - a 90-minute beach trek at £59, or a 60-minute estate trek at £49.
    8. Day-pass for non-residents to the Spa - £20/adult and £10/child
